Pastor Roger Andrews

Roger is the Lead Pastor at Lawton EMC. He has been married to Linda for 31 years. They have 2 children, Emily who is married to Jason and Tyler who is married to Erin. They also have three grandchildren, Brittany, Braden, and Jack.

Roger became a Christian when he was 9 years old at Vacation Bible School and was called into full-time ministry while he was a student at Taylor University. After Taylor he got his Masters of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary.

Roger's passion is to evangelize the world, disciple people and plant churches. He likes Diet Coke, Apple computers, the Detroit Tigers, books, golf, teaching the Bible and spending time with his wife and kids.

Pastor Eric Baldwin

Pastor Eric is the youth pastor at Lawton EMC. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Leah, since 2007. In 2011, they welcomed their son, Elliot, into the world. Eric is continually amazed at God's grace and has been trying to serve the Lord with all of his heart, soul, and mind since high school. His passion in life is to introduce people to the life changing power of the gospel.

Eric graduated from Huntington University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Youth Ministry. He also has a Masters of Arts in Religion with an emphasis in Christian Leadership from Liberty University.

Teresa Oertel, Church Secretary

Teresa began as the church secretary in 2010.  She and her husband, Matt, are also involved in the adult discipleship ministry at the church.  Her previous twenty years of ministry have been as a high school youth group sponsor. 

Teresa loves spending time with her three adult children.  She also finds great joy and exercise with her seven grand children.

Teresa enjoys her position at LEMC because she gets to watch all of the workers “behind the scenes.”  Her life verse, which gives her strength on a daily basis, is Philippians 4:13 “For I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”
